Commercial HVAC Technician

Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems including split systems, water source heat pumps, and rooftop units up to 130 tons. Diagnose air flow, building pressure, and VAV systems while tracing complex electrical systems and maintaining VFDs. Manage assigned projects by coordinating with Account Managers and Service Coordinators for parts, labor, and daily schedules. Complete accurate timecards, service activities, and inspection reports while maintaining a safe work environment and organized company vehicle. Articulate diagnostics and resolutions to clients and team members. Requires 2 to 5 years of commercial HVAC experience, a valid driver's license, and current EPA Universal, Texas ACR, and TDLR registrations.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of commercial HVAC experience
- Associate's degree, or equivalent experience and training
- Valid Driver's License
- Current EPA Universal
- Texas ACR Registered
- Current Texas TDLR Registration
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends, as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams
- Provide basic hand tools, i.e. gauges, meter(s), screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, etc.
- Actively seek training, coaching, and expand knowledge of the industry
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and smartphones
