Job Summary
Troubleshoot and repair air and cooled water chillers up to 700 tons, including 1280s ABB VFDs, RTUs, and VAV systems. Diagnose and replace boiler burner components, perform combustion analysis, and execute refrigerant leak testing, coil cleaning, and vibration analysis. Maintain service schedules, conduct safety inspections, and lead training for newer technicians on both boiler and chiller systems. Work independently or as part of a team to service commercial and industrial clients, with a focus on comprehensive maintenance and problem-solving. Full-time position with some overtime, paid up to $50/hr based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience with Commercial Boiler and Chiller Systems
- Able to work independently or as part of a team to troubleshoot and maintain & repair various types of burners including, Raypak, Milwaukee, Copper Finn Fireye, Honeywell, Auto-flame, Nexus and Cleaver Brooks
- Will need to be skilled in high / low steam and hot water boilers that are not 90% efficient
- Chiller experience with scroll and screw air cooled chillers up to 500 tons
- Technicians should have their own hand tools and a valid driver's license
- Lift & move un to 75 lbs and work from heights
Desired Qualifications
- Boiler Operator and refrigeration license preferred
