Job Summary
HVAC Service Technician responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, cooling, and refrigeration units for commercial and residential customers, including air conditioning systems, chillers, and heat pumps. Diagnose faults, perform routine maintenance, respond to emergency call-outs, provide clear technical explanations to customers, ensure compliance with procedures and health and safety regulations, and keep accurate service records. Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician
- A thorough understanding of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair
- Experience working with commercial HVAC systems and chillers is essential
- Proficiency in diagnosing and fixing mechanical faults
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear, non-technical manner
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of current health and safety regulations
- HVAC certification is preferred but not essential
