Job Summary

Commercial HVAC Service Technician responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and cleaning heating and cooling equipment (including forced air, hydronic, split systems, package units, make up air and exhaust systems) and assisting with new installations such as pump alignment, VFDs, chillers, and boilers. Build customer relationships, coordinate with engineers and owners’ representatives during commissioning, provide preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair HVAC and control systems, perform startups, read blueprints/schematics, and ensure compliance with local HVAC codes. Document work, assist in on-site installation and piping, and coordinate with inspectors and suppliers. Requires ability to work independently, strong knowledge of HVAC systems, union apprenticeship, and a valid driver’s license. Journeyman start at $39/hr; full benefits and company vehicle provided.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Willing to be registered through the local union
  • 5 years’ service experience specific to Commercial and Industrial HVAC
  • Experience with chillers and boilers a plus
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Successful completion of an Apprenticeship Program
