Job Summary
Field-based, hands-on Commercial HVAC Service Technician role supporting installation and servicing of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems across environments such as schools, churches, and industrial/commercial buildings. Responsibilities include installing, servicing, and repairing systems; performing start-ups, commissioning, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs; troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues; supporting both service work and installation projects; working with RTUs, AHUs, VRF/VRV, chillers, boilers, package units, and mini-splits; maintaining performance, safety, and reliability; and participating in an on-call rotation (approximately 1x every 6 weeks). Requires 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience, 2+ years refrigeration experience, EPA 608 certification, hands-on field troubleshooting/repair, and experience with listed equipment. Compensation includes base salary up to $45/hour, 100% employer-paid health insurance, company vehicle and fuel card, and end-of-year bonus; full-time, year-round work.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience (service and/or installation within commercial environments)
- 2+ years of commercial refrigeration experience
- EPA 608 Certification (required)
- Experience working for a mechanical contractor, HVAC service company, or similar commercial service provider
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing commercial HVAC systems in the field
- Experience working on RTUs, AHUs, VRF/VRV, chillers, boilers, or package units
