Job Summary
Commercial HVAC Service Technician role servicing commercial clients in the Utica and Albany areas, reporting to the Syracuse, NY office. Responsibilities include managing part installs, quoted repairs, and servicing HVAC systems; educating business owners to address HVAC needs; documenting work per policy; building customer relations; following safety procedures; maintaining up-to-date product knowledge. Must possess strong written/verbal skills, customer service orientation, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; capable of working independently and in a team. Starting base pay is $27-$38 per hour with total compensation influenced by experience, location, skills, and/or education.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2-5 years of commercial HVAC experience
- EPA – Universal Certification preferred
- OSHA 10-hour Construction Course preferred
- Valid driver's license / clean driving record required
