Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Job Summary
Operate, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial air conditioning, heating, chiller, and boiler systems. Diagnose issues with air handlers, fan coil units, and water treatment equipment while adhering to OSHA and NFPA 70e safety standards. Collaborate with the Dispatch Team to manage workload and ensure timely completion of service calls. Maintain proficiency in kitchen and refrigeration equipment, including proper refrigerant handling. Utilize hand tools, testing devices, and personal protective equipment to perform duties in isolated areas with minimal supervision. Requires a high school diploma, five years of experience, Universal CFC certification, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years of experience in maintaining similar type and size commercial equipment
- current Universal CFC certification
- Strong oral and written communication
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision in isolated areas
- Knowledge and experience in the proper use and safe operation of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices
- Valid Driver's license
- good driving record
- Ability to stand, sit or squat for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, move and carry material up to 50 lbs
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work at extended heights
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
