Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Commercial HVAC Service Technician role responsible for installing, servicing, and starting up a wide range of commercial HVAC systems (including VRF systems, rooftop units, and packaged equipment). Key duties include diagnosing and repairing issues, performing preventative maintenance, optimizing system performance for energy efficiency, and delivering high-quality customer support. Responsibilities also cover documenting service reports and work orders, coordinating with internal teams, maintaining a well-equipped service vehicle, providing mentorship to junior technicians, adhering to safety and regulatory requirements (OSHA), participating in on-call rotations, and potential overnight travel. Requires 5-7 years of experience with commercial HVAC systems, EPA Universal Certification, strong diagnostics and problem-solving skills, professional communication, valid driver’s license with clean record, ability to pass background and drug screening, and physical capability to perform field duties (lifting up to 100 pounds, climbing ladders, working in varied environments).
