Job Summary
Diagnose, service, and optimize a broad range of commercial HVAC systems, including VRF, rooftop, and packaged equipment; perform preventative maintenance and repairs, provide expert troubleshooting, and ensure energy efficiency and reliability. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through clear communication and timely documentation of service reports and work orders. Stay current with technical training and mentor junior technicians, while adhering to OSHA safety guidelines and participating in on-call after-hours coverage.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of commercial HVAC service experience with systems such as VRF, rooftop units, and packaged equipment
- EPA Universal Certification required; OEM-specific training or certifications preferred
- Skilled in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and interpreting service manuals and schematics
- Strong communication and customer service skills with a professional, team-focused mindset
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in various field conditions, including rooftops and tight spaces
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service coverage
