Job Summary
The Service Manager leads staff in Page Mechanical Group's HVAC Service Department, overseeing dispatch, service and install technicians, and supervisors to achieve departmental goals and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include P/L performance, revenue growth, staff recruitment and development, scheduling and technical support, ensuring safety and quality standards, performance appraisals, training programs, budgeting, and maintaining communication with customers, vendors, and factory personnel. The role also involves generating sales leads, promoting maintenance/service agreements, preparing bids for contracts, and coordinating large installations and commissioning projects while working with other managers to meet company objectives. Requires strong customer service and sales skills, HVAC/refrigeration knowledge, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in an office/field environment; willingness to work non-standard hours; valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Five years HVAC Management related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Some post-high school education from college, trade school or military
- Excellent leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Clean driving record
