Job Summary
Lead a Commercial HVAC Service Manager team responsible for day-to-day service operations, scheduling, and a $5M+ P&L, with hands-on troubleshooting of commercial boilers and hydronics. Oversee a team of 8+ technicians and plumbers, drive performance, safety, and customer satisfaction through ride-alongs, training, and regular meetings; partner with dispatch and CSRs to optimize job scheduling; recruit and onboard technicians to support growth. Occasional field support to troubleshoot complex systems, while maintaining a predominantly office-based role. Support includes guidance on HVAC service operations, performance metrics, and maintaining high service levels for commercial and mixed residential/commercial work. Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC and/or plumbing service
- 4+ years of experience managing service technicians or field teams
- Proven experience managing a service department P&L of $5M or more
- Prior experience working with commercial boiler systems and hydronics
- Experience working with low-voltage controls and system diagnostics
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC service, troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance
