Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC/R systems, including rooftop units, ventilation, and refrigeration. Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues across multiple sites using Building Management Systems, while conducting site inspections to ensure safe and efficient equipment operation. Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and assist with new facility openings by verifying installation and system functionality. This role involves 70% hands-on maintenance, 20% troubleshooting, and 10% reporting duties. You will work Monday through Friday with an on-call rotation and overtime opportunities in the Greater Los Angeles area.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC/R experience
- Experience working with rooftop units, ventilation systems, or refrigeration(WIC/F)
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between sites locally
- Monday–Friday schedule with on-call rotation and overtime opportunities
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC Universal certification (EPA, trade school, or equivalent)
- Experience in restaurants, hospitality, or multi-site facilities
- Working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
