Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC/R systems including rooftop units, exhaust fans, and ventilation. Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues across multiple sites while conducting site inspections to ensure equipment operates safely. Use Building Management Systems to monitor performance and provide remote troubleshooting support to onsite teams. Assist with new facility openings by verifying installation and coordinating corrective actions for specialized repairs. This field-based role in the Greater DMV area requires 70% hands-on maintenance, 20% troubleshooting, and 10% inspections, with a Monday–Friday schedule and on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC/R experience
- Experience working with rooftop units, ventilation systems, or refrigeration(Walk-Ins)
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel between sites locally
- Monday–Friday schedule
- On-call rotation
- Overtime opportunities
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC Universal certification (EPA, trade school, or equivalent)
- Experience in restaurants, hospitality, or multi-site facilities
- Working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
