Job Summary
Install, maintain, and service commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment, including walk-ins, reach-ins, rack systems, and ice machines. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control systems; perform repairs and preventative maintenance while prioritizing safety and EPA compliance for refrigerants. Read technical diagrams, replace critical components, and provide emergency service to retail, commercial, and institutional clients. Collaborate with dispatch and customers, log digital reports, and complete paperwork. Participate in an on-call rotation after training, drive vehicles, and perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- EPA Universal Certification
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience and working knowledge of HVAC and commercial refrigeration
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced and high-pressure environments
- Self-starter capable of working independently and in a team setting
- Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after training
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Ability to lift and/or exert force up to 50 pounds
- Frequent driving of motor vehicles
