Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC units and light industrial equipment, including troubleshooting electronic and electrical components. Locate problem sources by observing mechanical devices and listening for operational issues. Remove defective parts by dismantling units with hand and power tools, then identify correct replacements to close out jobs timely. Maintain equipment parts and supplies inventories by checking stock levels and anticipating needs based on analytical trends. Provide daily reports and communicate regularly with store managers, regional supervisors, and office administrators while adhering to OSHA and DOC safety regulations. Maintain the company vehicle and possess EPA certification. Requires minimum five years of experience with commercial HVAC-R equipment such as walk-in and reach-in freezers and ice machines.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with commercial HVAC - R equipment such as Walk-in Freezers, Reach-in Freezers, Ice Machines, Coolers, ETC
- EPA Certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability and desire to be cross trained on additional equipment for year round work
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency with MS Office products and advanced Phone Apps
- Ability to provide own set of tools
