Job Summary
Manage commercial HVAC projects from initial quotation through order fulfillment and closeout by preparing detailed quotes, takeoffs, and pricing for equipment and systems. Coordinate equipment orders, lead times, and deliveries while reviewing specifications and drawings to ensure accurate product selection. Process submittals, documentation, and job-related paperwork, resolving order issues and backorders in a timely manner. Maintain accurate project records, pricing, and communications in ERP/CRM systems while communicating regularly with customers, manufacturers, and internal teams. Requires 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC inside sales or project management, proficiency with ERP/CRM systems, and ability to read construction drawings. Supports outside sales representatives and contractor customers to ensure accuracy, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC inside sales, project management, or distribution
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment and systems
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills with contractors, sales teams, and manufacturers
- Proficiency with ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with commercial HVAC manufacturers and reps
- Familiarity with submittals, takeoffs, and project documentation
- Technical HVAC background or formal HVAC education
- Experience supporting design-build or plan-and-spec projects
