Commercial HVAC Project Manager

Job Summary
Oversee commercial HVAC projects from contract award through final completion, managing schedules, budgets, and milestones while coordinating with general contractors, subcontractors, and field teams. Review plans, specifications, and drawings to identify constructability concerns, manage equipment deliveries, and track inspections and commissioning. Utilize Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or BIM 360 to track submittals, RFIs, and change orders, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget. Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate status to leadership and customers. Requires 5+ years of experience with RTUs, AHUs, chillers, and VAV systems.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC project management experience preferred
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, including: RTUs, AHUs, VRF/VRV systems, Chillers, Boilers, Split systems, VAV systems, Ductwork, Hydronic piping, Refrigeration piping, Controls/BAS
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans, specifications, and construction documents
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and vendors
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Google sheets
