Job Summary
Commercial HVAC Installation Technician responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing a wide range of commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, chillers, heat pumps, ductwork, and controls. Duties include coordinating with project teams, startup and testing, diagnosing and resolving issues, documenting results, communicating with customers, and supporting on-call rotations. Requires EPA Universal Certification, a valid driver’s license, and physical ability to lift 50+ lbs; experience with mechanical, electrical, and control components; ability to read blueprints/schematics; and strong attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a commercial HVAC technician with expertise in system installation and commissioning.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial HVAC systems including mechanical, electrical, and control components.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- EPA Universal Certification required.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work safely in various commercial job site environments.
