Job Summary
Lead and supervise commercial HVAC installation crews on active construction sites, planning daily jobsite activities and delegating work effectively. Coordinate installations of ductwork, rooftop units, refrigerant piping, and mechanical equipment according to blueprints and project specifications. Oversee operations while ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and local codes, managing manpower, tools, and materials to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Train and mentor apprentices, troubleshoot field challenges, and assist with system startup and final punch lists. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe construction site.
Required Qualifications
- Utah Journeyman HVAC License
- Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC experience
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Own HVAC tools
Desired Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of commercial HVAC experience
- Experience managing and operating large-scale commercial construction projects
- Ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and crew management skills
- Previous experience as an HVAC Foreman, Lead HVAC Installer, HVAC Supervisor, or Mechanical Foreman
- Experience with VRF systems, boilers, chillers, rooftop units (RTUs), controls integration systems, and commercial mechanical construction
- Experience overseeing multi-phase commercial construction projects
- EPA Certification
