Commercial HVAC Estimator

As a Commercial HVAC Estimator, you will lead the procurement liaison between field offices and suppliers to develop accurate installation cost models for HVAC projects. You will own Subcon Installation pricing in collaboration with the HVAC Controls Sales Organization, identify and select 3rd party subcontractors through supplier development, contract management, and price negotiations, and coordinate subcontractor strategy and RFP development. You will review project SOWs, qualify subcontractor requirements, utilize estimating tools to establish baseline pricing, source quotes, ensure contractual provisions align with the contract to subcontractors, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal customers. The role requires a structured, process-driven approach to procurement activities, attention to DoA and BOS procedures, and the ability to communicate effectively across sales, procurement, and field teams. Preferred experience includes design-build construction and HVAC. Salary range is $85,000–$130,000 with a competitive incentive plan and benefits. Must have electrical industry knowledge or a bachelor’s degree and 5-8+ years in estimating for HVAC controls construction or trades, along with strong cost analysis and financial skills.
