Job Summary
Lead the UK commercial organisation within the animal health sector, overseeing a team of Key Account Managers, Territory Managers, and Customer Service representatives. Shape and execute the UK commercial strategy to accelerate revenue and margin growth while strengthening partnerships across veterinary and agricultural channels. Engage with veterinary corporate groups, buying groups, independent practices and clinics, wholesalers and distributors, farm customers, and online channels. Bring proven commercial leadership, people management, and deep UK market knowledge, including regulatory requirements and channel dynamics, to drive strategic plans, cross-functional collaboration, and compliance with UK veterinary medicines regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Strong leadership experience in animal health or related sector
- Proven track record in senior commercial or national sales leadership roles
- Experience leading and developing high-performing commercial teams
- Strong strategic capability with experience shaping and executing country-level plans
- Excellent financial acumen with the ability to interpret sales, margin, and investment performance
- Strong contract negotiation expertise including rebates and trading terms
- Working knowledge of the UK veterinary medicines regulatory environment
- Third-level qualification in science, veterinary, agriculture, business, or related discipline (postgraduate advantageous)
