Job Summary
Commercial Head of Region responsible for profit and loss of multiple large state markets, leading development and execution of product strategies, pricing and underwriting guidelines, and overseeing implementation of product changes. Partners with Distribution, Sales, and Underwriting leadership to drive profitability, growth, and competitive positioning in designated territories. Leads Product Management efforts, ensures regulatory filings approvals, and coordinates with Government Relations to influence policy. Builds and mentors PM teams, communicates financial results and strategic impact to senior leadership, and aligns product initiatives with company profitability goals while maintaining a focus on risk management and market trends.
Required Qualifications
- Must have Commercial Lines Product Management experience
- Experience managing several areas of an insurance company (product, marketing, claims, etc.) is beneficial
- A deep understanding of the P&C insurance industry along with knowledge of the key competitors
- Understanding of regulatory trends in the insurance marketplace
