Job Summary
Commercial Glazier/Installer is responsible for professional installation of commercial aluminum glazing systems, storefronts, curtainwall, aluminum doors, and related glass works. Reads and interprets shop drawings and architectural drawings to confirm project requirements; assembles scaffolds and operates heavy-duty equipment and power tools; collaborates with installation team to ensure quality customer service, while complying with safety policies and procedures; able to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials; requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and glazing experience. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Glazing apprenticeship would be an advantage
- 3+ years of experience in the installation of commercial aluminum framing systems as well as commercial doors is preferred
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be able to lift heavy equipment and materials
- Experience in the construction industry with window and door experience is preferred
- Willingness to work in all varieties of weather
