Job Summary
Commercial Garage Door Technician needed to install, repair, and maintain commercial garage doors in Cypress, TX. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, troubleshooting, responding to service calls, ensuring safety compliance, delivering excellent customer service, maintaining records, and collaborating with the team to improve efficiency. Must have own truck and tools; valid driver’s license; ability to lift heavy objects; flexible hours including weekends; familiarity with commercial garage door systems and components; certifications in installation/repair a plus. This is a contractor role with ProLift Garage Doors of Cypress, a woman-owned local service company serving the Greater Cypress/Houston area.
Required Qualifications
- Must have own truck and tools
- Proven experience as a garage door technician or similar role
- Knowledge of commercial garage door systems and components
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Technical certifications related to garage door installation/repair are a plus
