Job Summary
Operate a front-end load garbage truck on a designated route, performing complete pre- and post-operation inspections and verifying safety compliance with state/federal regulations. Provide courteous customer service, read and follow route sheets, identify unsatisfactory waste containers, tag appropriate items, monitor waste quality, and maintain vehicle readiness. Maintain required productivity and complete reports (DVIR, route sheets) while adhering to safety policies and procedures; collaborate with dispatchers and customers as needed. Prior heavy-truck experience and a valid Class B CDL are required; auto-loading garbage trucks experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of prior experience driving heavy commercial trucks.
- Class B CDL.
