Job Summary
Join Sergenian’s Floor Coverings as a Commercial Flooring Sales Representative, responsible for generating leads, building relationships with customers, and closing deals in the commercial flooring sector. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years in commercial flooring sales, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to interpret architectural drawings. Responsibilities include managing projects through completion, supporting installation teams, and staying abreast of industry trends. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field and established relationships with General Contractors.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial flooring sales
- Proven record of success in achieving sales goals
- Established relationships with industry General Contractors / Mill Reps
- Must be able to read and interpret architectural drawings and all bid documents
- Strong understanding of commercial flooring products and installation
- Experience operating Measure Square, RFMS Measure Software or industry equivalent
- Excellent professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to project manage commercial sales through installation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive and collaborative team player
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in design, business or related field (preferred)
- Background in design desirable
- Tech savvy with experience using Microsoft Office Suite
