Job Summary
Perform floor care and carpet cleaning services across assigned JaniTek accounts, including scrubbing, stripping and refinishing hard floors, carpet extraction and bonnet/rotO, marble restoration, hardwood refinishing, upholstery cleaning, post-construction cleaning; supervise staff, train new employees, distribute assignments, perform equipment maintenance, ensure safety, maintain customer relations, and report building conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience refinishing VCT, machine scrubbing ceramic tile and stone floors, and cleaning carpets
- Able to perform all tasks which include walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry a 12 lbs. backpack vacuum cleaner
- Able to work efficiently to complete tasks
- Able to effectively communicate with co-workers, management, tenants, and customers
- Able to read and understand written communications
