Job Summary
Communicate with supervisors, customers, and trades to ensure quality, timely, cost-effective maintenance and coordinate service continuity. Perform comprehensive finishing work including painting, vinyl wallpaper repair, and surface staining to decorate and protect interior walls and doors. Prepare and finish wall areas, restore damaged wood and metal doors, and use hand and power tools to complete finisher-related items. Document procedures and completed work accurately and timely. Ensure proper care of equipment, maintain safe work areas, and comply with legal specifications and building codes. Work night shifts (10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.) Sunday through Thursday at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. A driver's license is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to work night shifts (10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.)
- Must comply with MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza vaccine requirement
Desired Qualifications
- Commercial drywall, painting and flooring finishing experience
- Healthcare experience
- LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI
- State of Michigan
