Job Summary
Analyze pricing requests from Sales for new and existing opportunities, developing pricing models to support customer proposals and contract negotiations. Recommend target selling prices based on cost, margin expectations, and market dynamics while partnering with Operations to understand production capabilities and efficiencies. Collaborate with Cost Accounting to validate product costs and evaluate raw material, labor, and overhead inputs to ensure accurate cost structures. Develop and maintain key commercial KPIs using historical sales data, pipeline activity, and CRM insights to monitor business performance and drive profitability. Prepare dashboards and recurring reports summarizing commercial performance, providing ad hoc analysis to support strategic decisions, and standardizing pricing tools and approval workflows. Work with Sales leadership to translate data into actionable insights and ensure adherence to internal controls and pricing governance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or cost accounting
- Experience in manufacturing or CPG environment preferred
- Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
- Solid understanding of cost structures, margins, and pricing strategies
- Experience working with ERP systems and CRM data
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to Sales and Operations teams
- Detail-oriented with strong business acumen and problem-solving mindset
- Overtime and weekends may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing or CPG environment preferred
- Experience with BI tools a plus
