Job Summary
The Commercial Finance Director oversees global commercial profitability performance through strategic pricing discipline, contract governance, and margin expansion initiatives. This role requires collaboration with commercial leaders to devise pricing strategies responsive to market dynamics. The director will lead governance on significant commercial agreements, develop profitability analytics, support SKU rationalization efforts, and establish effective forecasting processes. Essential skills include strong finance proficiency, leadership in team development, and the ability to communicate complex financial data clearly. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required, along with 10–15 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- 10–15 years of progressive finance experience
- Experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or business finance within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience partnering with commercial, product management, and operations leadership
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing finance teams
- Ability to operate effectively in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Strong business partnering and influencing skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or professional certification (CPA/CMA) preferred
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools preferred
