Commercial Finance Banking Paralegal

Job Summary
Prepare, review, and manage documentation for HUD and conventional loan transactions, including drafting closing checklists, certificates, resolutions, and ancillary documents. Analyze due diligence materials such as corporate documents, organizational charts, and UCC searches while coordinating with lenders, title companies, and opposing counsel to ensure timely closings. Review title commitments, surveys, and exception documents; conduct UCC filings; and maintain thorough records of all filings and documents. Support attorneys with ongoing transaction management from term sheet to closing, proofreading legal documents for accuracy and compliance, and maintaining closing calendars and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent relevant experience
- 5 years of experience in commercial finance or real estate transactions
- Ability to produce high-quality, billable work with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Professionalism, discretion, and ability to work effectively with clients, attorneys, and outside parties
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently or collaboratively under deadlines
- Commitment to excellence, responsiveness, and client service
