Job Summary
Complete preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on commercial properties, including minor plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry work. Conduct face-to-face client interactions to deliver services and generate satisfaction while utilizing a company van for daily local travel. Access and complete work orders via tablet, submit service reports with inspection images, and manage timesheets and expense logs. Provide estimates for larger projects and obtain necessary materials to maintain facilities in like-new condition. Adhere to all safety standards, OSHA guidelines, and regulatory requirements while performing assigned duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or Degree/Certification, or equivalent professional experience in Landscaping, Trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc), or Specialty Floor Care
- Two (2) to Five (5) years mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry
- Equivalent combination of training, education, and experience which demonstrates ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described including related work experience in one or more of the building trades
- Applicable certifications, licenses
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions including, but not limited to, safety policies and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations
- Ability to use and operate handheld device and business systems or document management Database software, including but not limited to Microsoft office, Lotus Notes, MS office (word, Excel)
- Experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
- Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm in the face of the customer
