Job Summary
Repair, maintain, install, or refurbish commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment according to established service schedules and factory standards. Troubleshoot and rectify potential problems on location while documenting all work performed accurately on an iPad. Maintain the service vehicle, stock it with parts and tools, and perform preventive maintenance. Train new employees and offer assistance to staff as needed. Build and maintain customer relations to ensure excellent service. This role includes rotating on-call portal-to-portal requirements and may involve overtime. Located in Albuquerque, NM.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver License
- driving record that aligns with our safety standards
- Refrigeration (EPA) universal license
- At least 18 years of age
- At least three years of related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret and extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- knowledge of the internet, smartphones and tablets
- knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook or similar programs
- completion of a satisfactory background check
- completion of a satisfactory drug screen
- Must be comfortable with or willing to learn how to document all work performed on an iPad
- Must be available for overtime and on call time
