Job Summary
Install commercial dishwashing equipment at customer locations, assembling, connecting, adjusting, and testing units ranging from smaller models to larger machines with conveyor systems. Use hand and power tools throughout the installation while troubleshooting mechanical, plumbing, and basic electrical issues to determine solutions when plans deviate. Work independently at job sites, ensuring equipment operates properly before completion and training restaurant staff on operation, cleaning, startup, shutdown, and care procedures. Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM with an on-call rotation every 7–8 weeks. First-year earnings of $56,000–$65,000 including overtime. Requires professional hands-on mechanical experience, tool proficiency, and a valid driver's license held for at least three years.
Required Qualifications
- Professional hands-on mechanical, installation, repair, or maintenance experience
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Comfortable working independently
- Able to communicate professionally with customers
- Valid driver's license held for at least 3 years
- Ability to lift and maneuver equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation approximately every 7–8 weeks
