Job Summary
Conduct entry-level commercial energy audits for small and mid-sized facilities by meeting with business owners to explain program offerings, perform on-site installations of energy efficiency measures, and gather technical data. Accurately document inspections, installations, and customer interactions while identifying and escalating basic technical or installation issues to program staff. Travel daily throughout a defined territory in central Louisiana, including Monroe, using a company vehicle for field work, warehouse tasks, and driving on behalf of the company. Perform physical labor involving bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Central Time.
Required Qualifications
- Reside in or around central Louisiana; including as far north as Monroe, LA
- Travel daily throughout a defined territory
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license in the state you are seeking employment in
- Driving record that meets CLEAResult's minimum safety standard
- Must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test
- Must consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record
- Must maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment
- Must meet all DOT qualification requirements
- Must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support
