Job Summary
Conduct entry-level commercial energy audits for small and mid-sized facilities by meeting with business owners to explain program offerings, gather technical data, and perform on-site installations of energy efficiency measures. Accurately document inspections and installations while identifying and escalating basic technical issues to program staff. Travel daily throughout a defined territory in San Antonio using a company vehicle, performing physical labor including lifting up to 50 pounds and working from ladders. Requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods. Monitors Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM Central Time.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license in the state you are seeking employment in
- Driving record that meets CLEAResult's minimum safety standard
- Must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test
- Must consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record
- Must maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support
- Must reside in or around San Antonio
- Must be available for frequent travel within a defined territory
- Must be available for daily travel throughout a defined territory
- Experience in industries such as construction, facility maintenance or installation
- Customer service skills
