Job Summary
Install, route, and secure conduit and cabling including EMT, PVC, MC cable, and Romex in accordance with project specifications and electrical codes. Pull, feed, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, and distribution systems while building, installing, and troubleshooting control panels. Read blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation, coordinate with foremen and other trades to complete projects on schedule, and resolve electrical installation issues. Perform refrigeration and HVAC motor control wiring and assist with Ansul system installations. Work third shifts or overnight schedules from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, commuting to various jobsites across California.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of four years of experience in commercial construction
- Ability to commute to various jobsites
- Availability to work third shifts or overnight schedules as needed
- Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, walking, squatting, and ascending or descending stairs
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights (including lifts), and in inclement weather
Desired Qualifications
- Perform refrigeration and/or HVAC motor control wiring
- Assist with or perform Ansul system installations
