Job Summary
Install, repair, or replace electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic, line assemblies, lighting, and alternative electrical parts. Install generators, industrial storage batteries, electrical circuits, panels, conduit, protecting devices, switches, and equipment required to accommodate the CEC and/or NEC. Maintain maintenance records, perform preventive maintenance and testing of electrical systems, and analyze electrical failures to replace components affecting production time. Conduct basic and advanced troubleshooting, test equipment for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance, and correct connections on equipment controls. Read, interpret, and execute drawings, schematics, blueprints, and electrical code specifications while complying with industry standards, safety rules, and regulations. This full-time position in Tampa, Florida, requires a Florida State JLA Badge and a minimum of three years of experience. Candidates must work flexible schedules including overtime, night, and weekend shifts, often traveling to field locations with varying environmental conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to obtain a Florida State JLA (Jessica Lunsford Act) Badge
- Minimum of 3 years of electrician experience
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
- Team spirit and ability to work closely with maintenance, production, and engineering services
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including overtime if necessary
- Ability to climb ladders
- Own transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly
- Adherence to traffic laws and company policies governing the use of motor vehicles
- US government security clearance (if extended an offer)
- Ability to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily
- Professional behavior that promotes teamwork, fosters cooperation and enhances productivity in the workplace
- Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to work effectively with various external customers including government, military, and contractor personnel at all levels

- Grooming and dress that does not pose a safety hazard to yourself or employees working in the same general area
- Adherence to OSHA Standards
