Commercial Electrician (5+ years commercial experience)

Commercial Electrician with 5+ years of commercial electrical experience sought in the Kansas City metro area. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting commercial electrical systems; reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings; installing conduit, wiring, panels, lighting, devices, and electrical equipment; performing rough-in and finish work; coordinating with project managers, general contractors, and other trades; ensuring NEC/code compliance; maintaining a clean, safe jobsite; completing work orders and material tracking; mentoring apprentices and assisting with on-the-job training; operating power tools and jobsite equipment safely. Candidate should be safety-focused, detail-oriented, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and capable of maintaining professional conduct on site. Requires valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to lift 50+ pounds; OSHA 10 certification preferred; Journeyman license preferred but not required; experience with tenant finish, remodel, service, or new construction projects preferred. Typical schedule is Monday – Friday, start around 6:00–7:00 AM, with steady, year-round work and opportunities for advancement and training.
