Job Summary
Prepare estimates and proposals for commercial electrical projects ranging from tenant improvements to design-build initiatives. Conduct site walks and collaborate directly with customers to develop budgets and conceptual estimates. Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to produce accurate bids and pricing. Assist with value engineering and design-build solutions during preconstruction while working closely with project managers and field personnel. Support both negotiated and competitive bid opportunities. This role offers a base salary of $110,000 - $140,000+ and includes competitive benefits, a stable pipeline of work, and long-term growth opportunities within a collaborative leadership team.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of electrical construction experience preferred
- Previous electrical field experience strongly preferred
- Experience estimating commercial electrical projects
- Ability to estimate projects independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with design-build projects and conceptual estimating
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation methods, labor productivity, and material costs
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
