Job Summary
Review drawings, specs, and bid documents to develop accurate and competitive estimates for commercial projects in the NW Boston area. Build detailed proposals and scope coverage for bids and negotiated work while staying current on local labor, material, and equipment pricing. Ensure all estimates align with applicable codes and project requirements, and support junior team members within the estimating group. Required Qualifications
- Degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, finance, or related field
- 2+ years of estimating experience
- 5–7 years of relevant construction experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple deadlines
- Self-starter who can operate with minimal oversight
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to pass a background check
- Willingness to sign confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements
