Job Summary
Prepare detailed drywall estimates for commercial tenant improvement projects, including corporate offices, healthcare facilities, and schools. Perform digital quantity takeoffs using estimating software and analyze plans, specifications, and project scope to develop accurate material, labor, and equipment cost estimates. Coordinate with project managers and operations teams to support bid preparation, proposal submission, and subcontractor pricing reviews. Review preconstruction and project planning activities for large commercial ground-up projects ranging from $2.5M to $5M. Required Qualifications
- Experience estimating commercial drywall projects
- Strong understanding of drywall systems and commercial construction practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with On-Screen Takeoff (OST) and QuickBid preferred
- Project engineering or project management background is a plus
