Job Summary
Operate company vehicles safely to deliver automotive parts and accessories to customer locations while adhering to DOT regulations. Perform timely deliveries, load and unload products with proper handling, and communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding route issues. Complete all required paperwork including delivery logs and inspection reports, and perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and represent the company positively during interactions. Adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements, including steel-toe shoes. Assist with warehouse duties when not on delivery routes. Requires a valid Class A CDL, clean driving record, and ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Regularly.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
- Valid CDL, Class A driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to obtain a DOT medical card
- Reliable transportation to the Arlington warehouse
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and occasionally lift over 100 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- Must meet employment eligibility requirements as established by U.S. federal law
- Must successfully complete a background check
- Must successfully complete a drug screening where permitted by law
- Must wear steel-toe or composite safety shoes
