Commercial Driver

Conduct complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, and safety equipment are in proper working order. Safely operate a heavy truck along designated routes to service customers, read route sheets, and follow maps while adhering to all company, state, and federal regulations. Perform manual and automatic controls to lift, load refuse, operate compactors, and dispose of collected material at designated facilities. Maintain vehicle condition by cleaning waste from the packer blade and truck body on each trip and completing daily VCRs and productivity reports. Identify unsatisfactory waste containers, tag them per departmental procedures, and clean accidental spills while continuously monitoring waste for evidence of unacceptable material.
