Job Summary
Drive company-owned commercial vehicles to deliver gasoline to local business fleets, never exceeding 100 miles from the terminal. Directly pump gas from tanker to customer vehicles and assets while ensuring safety best practices are always followed. Maintain regular communication with logistics coordinators, follow route guidance, and complete required safety pre and post inspections. Utilize company technology to manage fuel inventory and customer delivery requirements, complying with all state and local DOT laws. Fill tankers with needed fuel for delivery and provide excellent customer service. This night/evening position requires a valid Florida CDL A or B, minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience, and Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Florida CDL A or B
- Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
- Hazmat endorsement for at least 2 years
- Tanker endorsement for at least 2 years
- Completed a formal driving training program or attended driver training school
- No major violations (reckless driving, fleeing the scene, accident resulting in serious injury or death, speeds greater than 20 mph in a given zone, drug or alcohol related)
- Pass background checks including Motor Vehicle Report
- Clear a pre-employment drug screening
- No more than 3 moving violations in the prior 36-month period
- Some weekend availability
- Must be able to get in and out of the truck multiple times per shift
- Must be able to carry hoses weighing up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to climb ladders
