Job Summary
Operate company-owned vehicles to deliver products and materials to customers, load/unload trucks, and perform related warehouse duties. Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies, verify inventory against shipping papers, and maintain records per regulations. Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams; follow written, verbal, or GPS directions; comply with DOT and safety requirements; pass necessary screenings. Proficient with MS Office 365; able to work independently with minimal supervision; CDL Class A required; forklift operation experience (Moffett or Piggy-Back) and ability to collaborate in a team environment. The role includes additional duties as assigned and involves varying weather conditions and physical activity.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years’ experience as a commercial delivery driver
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Must be registered with the Clearinghouse
- Ability to pass DOT Medical Card screen, background check, MVR check, and DOT drug test
- Computer literate; Proficient with MS Office 365
- Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal)
- Thrives in a collaborative team environment
- Physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, lift to 50 lbs., carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling, enduring frequent exposure to outside weather conditions
