Job Summary
Operate commercial vehicles (trash/roll-off trucks) to collect waste and recyclables on designated routes, following local, state, and federal regulations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load/unload materials, and ensure safety protocols and PPE usage. Interact with customers professionally, maintain route efficiency with dispatch, and document daily logs. Must have a valid Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement; HS diploma or equivalent; ability to lift 50+ lbs; work outdoors in various weather; early mornings and occasional weekends. Emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork; background check and drug screening required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement
- Previous experience driving commercial trucks (waste industry experience preferred but not required)
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check & drug screening
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
