Job Summary
Operate a commercial vehicle to collect, transport, and dispose of waste and recyclables by following designated routes and schedules. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and unload materials at disposal facilities, and interact with customers professionally. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and PPE requirements while maintaining a clean work environment. Assist with vehicle cleaning, reporting missed pickups, and documenting daily logs. Communicate with dispatchers to ensure route efficiency. Valid Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement required; early morning shifts and weekend work may be necessary. Medical, dental, and vision insurance included.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check & drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be available for early morning shifts
- Must be available for occasional weekend work
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience driving commercial trucks
