Commercial Door Technician Trainee

Job Summary
Repair and/or install a wide range of commercial doors and dock hardware (rolling steel, high-speed, sectional doors, dock levelers), identify opportunities to provide customers with products/services, maintain job-related paperwork, and operate safely. Trainee role for experienced technicians with emphasis on mechanial aptitude, fabrication/installation tasks, and site safety; includes duties such as training in door systems, hardware, dock equipment, and fabrication/installation processes. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED (Preferred)
- Prior experience in a similar role or one that required a mechanical aptitude preferred
- Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work at heights and use a ladder
- Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record
