Job Summary
Install commercial doors, hollow metal frames, and architectural hardware systems while performing metal stud framing, drywall installation, and acoustical ceiling systems. Review blueprints and shop drawings to ensure proper execution, then measure, cut, and prepare materials to maintain quality standards. Coordinate with field supervisors on progress and scheduling, and travel to job sites throughout the Philadelphia Tri-State region. Maintain safe, organized work areas and ensure all installations meet project specifications and schedule requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial carpentry experience
- Proven experience installing commercial doors, frames, and hardware systems
- Working knowledge of drywall systems, metal stud framing, and acoustical ceiling installation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in active commercial construction environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel to regional project locations
Desired Qualifications
- Trade school education or vocational training
- OSHA 10 certification
- CPR and First Aid certifications
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Demonstrated commitment to jobsite safety and professional conduct
- Bilingual candidates
